Fujitsu helps Ausenco slash data centre bills

ENGINEERING group Ausenco has shaved off a whopping 60 per cent in power consumption by outsourcing data centre operations and is investigating Google and Microsoft cloud computing options.

Ausenco designs mines for some of the largest resources and energy companies in the world, with customers and staff spread across the globe. It counts Rio Tinto, BHP Billiton, Newcrest Mining and Xstrata as customers.
